The Skye Terrier Health Committee will shortly be preparing the yearly health report. We would like to thank everybody who has provided DNA samples from their dogs. These samples are held securely at the Animal Health Trust and provide a valuable resource for monitoring breed health.
To ensure that records are accurate and represent the full scope of conditions affecting Skye Terriers it is essential that any significant condition is reported either to the Health Committee at msascience@onetel.com or to Bryan McLaughlin at the AHT – bryan.mclaughlin@aht.org.uk
All updated details will be treated and stored confidentially.
Don’t forget that if you have or are planning to have a litter, you can request swab kits from the Health Committee to take a sample from each of your puppies to add to the DNA bank.
Thank you for your continued support.
